In response to Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day 13/10 organized by Saigon Entrepreneur Newspaper, Kim Oanh Foundation has donated nearly 100 gifts to the Association of the Blind in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City with a total value of nearly 50 million VND.

On the morning of 11/10, Saigon Business Newspaper and representatives of companies and businesses, offered incense at the memorial of beloved President Ho Chi Minh in District 1. After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation moved to the Red Cross of Cu Chi district to give gifts to nearly 50 visually impaired people in the locality. 

The gifts were given by representatives of businesses and companies worth nearly 2 million VND. In particular, Kim Oanh Foundation awarded nearly 100 gifts, which are cash worth nearly 50 million VND.

According to the representative of Cu Chi District Association of the Blind, most visually impaired girls and uncles have a difficult life, living by many jobs such as selling lottery tickets, massages, selling toothpicks … to earn a living.

Mr. Hoang Ly – 73 years old said that he was happy to receive the meaningful gift. “This gift I asked someone to carry and drive home for help, the money I saved for food and medicine. I thank the sponsors very much.”

At the end of the session, the delegation moved to the house of the late Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, who signed the decision to set 13/10 as Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, to offer flowers, burn incense and take souvenir photos here.

The delegation offered incense and remembrance of the late Prime Minister Phan Van Khai at the Memorial Hall, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
