Kim Oanh Charity Foundation donates scholarships in Con Dao

In Con Dao, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation and Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund have awarded 80 scholarships (each scholarship worth 1 million VND, accompanied by gifts of helmets and some school supplies) to poor students who overcome difficulties to study well; children of officers and soldiers of the 590th Radar Station, 251st Regiment, 2nd Naval Region. The delegation visited and gave gifts to some former political prisoners living in Con Dao.

Talking to the scholarship recipients, Mrs. Truong My Hoa, former Vice President, Chairman of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Chairman of the club for Hoang Sa – Truong Sa, shared: “Although the value of the scholarship is not large, it shows the heart of the donors and the cooperation towards the students in the sea and islands, help them overcome difficulties to go to school, make their dreams come true.”

The project “Nurturing the future” under the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund is sponsoring and supporting 2 students of Con Dao district currently studying at universities in the mainland. In particular, Kim Oanh Group has been a companion for more than 10 years with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, awarding thousands of scholarships to children of ethnic minorities, children of cadres and soldiers in island areas across the country.
