Two charity houses for disadvantaged children in Buon Don and M'Dak districts of Dak Lak province have just been handed over by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation, worth 120 million VND.

On June 16, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation in collaboration with Dak Lak Children's Fund held a handover ceremony for two compassionate apartments for disadvantaged children in Buon Don and M'Dak districts. Each house is supported by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation with 60 million VND to build a new one.

The house is solidly built, painted quite beautifully. The rainy season in the Central Highlands has come, Luong Nguyen Thuy Trinh's family no longer worries about “leaking columns”. …

In M'Dak district, the newly built house of the family of 9-year-old Luong Nguyen Kieu Trinh, surprised everyone in the delegation. The house is solidly built, beautifully painted walls. According to the family, in addition to the support of Kim Oanh Charity Foundation, the family was supported by local relatives with more construction materials, so they made it more thoughtful.

Mr. Nguyen Thuan – Vice Chairman of Kim Oanh Group (right), and Mr. Lam Dinh Nhien – Director of Dak Lak Children's Fund congratulated Trinh's family.

Mr. Lam Dinh Nhien, Director of Dak Lak Province's Children's Sponsorship Fund, said Kieu Trinh's family was in a difficult situation in the locality. Dad had a birth defect, and Mom was deaf and couldn't speak, so life was quite precarious, without a stable job.

Members of the delegation took souvenir photos with Kieu Trinh's family.

In Buon Don district, the house deep in the coffee grove of father and son Nguyen Phung Cuong, 17 years old, was also decent after weeks of construction. Cuong said he is very happy to have a new house, a place to study without worrying about water flooding into the house every time it rains.

Nguyen Quang Bin, Cuong's father, was touched when he had a place to place his wife's photograph. He is currently in poor health, also old, so he cannot work hard, so the life of father and son is mostly thanks to neighbors and interested unions.

Mr. Nguyen Thuan handed over the symbolic support value to hand over the house to Cuong's family.

Mr. Nguyen Thuan – Vice Chairman of the Group shared that although the support is not much, it is a motivation for families to confidently start a new life, so that their grandchildren can confidently try their best to study.

Also during the handover of the house to disadvantaged children, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation provided VND 36 million to 3 brothers orphaned by their parents in a traffic accident that occurred on June 5 in Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province.
