(KTSG Online) – Tan Van interchange connecting Binh Duong province with Ho Chi Minh City has started construction. This is one of the important items of Ho Chi Minh City's 3rd Ring Road with a total investment of VND 1,831 billion.
Thong Tan Xa Viet Nam News that on April 23, Tan Van intersection of Ho Chi Minh City's 3rd Ring Road, Tan Van interchange connecting the gateway of Binh Duong province with Hanoi Highway (Ho Chi Minh City), officially started construction.
Tan Van interchange under XL1 package is one of the important items of the Ho Chi Minh City 3rd Ring Road project. This XL1 package has a value of VND 1,831 billion built by 7 joint venture units. The contract performance period is 1,050 days.
With a total length of 2.4 km, this intersection is the intersection connecting the gateway of Di An city, Binh Duong province with Ho Chi Minh City. This is the most difficult and complex intersection of Ring Road 3.
After completion, this interchange will open the current traffic congestion points between Ho Chi Minh City and the southeastern provinces.
The Ho Chi Minh City 3rd Ring Road project through Binh Duong has a total length of about 26.6 km; in which Tan Van interchange is 2.4 km long, Binh Chuan – Saigon River section is 8.9 km long, My Phuoc – Tan Van road is 15.3 km long.
In 2024, the section through Binh Duong will be allocated investment capital for component projects of about VND 3,835 billion. Total investment in Ho Chi Minh City 3rd Ring Road through Binh Duong province is expected to be about VND 19,280 billion; passing through 3 localities: Thu Dau Mot city, Di An and Thuan An with a total compensation cost of VND 13,063 billion.
