In the afternoon of November 2, Kim Oanh Group held a closing ceremony of the activity “Run for the community Uprace 2023” after a month of launching.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Learning Fund Vu A Dinh; leaders of Kim Oanh Group and individuals, representatives of departments and branches whose achievements were recognized by the organizers.

The event “Run for the community Uprace 2023” was officially launched from October 6 to October 29 with the participation so far is more than 650 members. According to the statistics of the Organizing Committee, the total number of kilometers of Kim Oanh Group Running Team recorded on the UpRace application until October 29 reached nearly 40,000km, equivalent to Kim Oanh’s collective contribution to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund of nearly 40 million VND, helping poor students in remote areas, remote areas and island waters have the opportunity to maintain their studies.

“We have nearly 10 years of accompanying the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the beloved Hoang Sa – Truong Sa Club, annually signing billions of VND as the main sponsor in scholarship programs across the country. Nearly 40 million VND recorded on the UpRace application is not a big number, but shows the consensus and enthusiasm of our collective and above all, to serve and contribute to the community” – Mrs. Kim Oanh excited.
According to the Organizing Committee, this activity is the “trigger” to activate the “warrior spirit” of more than 650 Runners across the Kim Oanh Group system, through which Kim Oanh Group Running Team excellently rose to the TOP position of 13/1705 teams in the enterprise table with a total achievement of 39,617km (exceeding the initial expected target of 30,000km).

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mrs. Do Thi Thu Huong – Former Head of VP representing the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund in the South, Assistant Chairman of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund thanked Kim Oanh for responding to the call to run for the UpRace community to contribute to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund.

“Kim Oanh is the first of many businesses to run donations to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, and also the unit that achieved impressive numbers on UpRace after nearly 1 month of implementation. The total units and individuals donated to the Medium A Sticky Scholarship Fund on UpRace 2023 is more than 800 million VND. In addition, the Scholarship Fund also received the support of organizations and individuals in this event to a total of more than VND 1.5 billion.” – Mrs. Thu Huong said.
The closing ceremony “UpRace 2023 Community Run” has 03 collective and 03 individual prizes including, Century Award: “Highest average mileage”. Legacy Award: “Highest average number of active days”. Richland Award: “Highest percentage of eligible runner finishes”. In the training tournament, the rewards are souvenir trophies and medals in recognition of achievements.
Individual prizes include: Super Hero Prize: 01 pair of Adizero Pro 3 worth 3 million VND for the runner with the longest total kilometers in 1 run. Hero Award: 03 Finisher shirts for Top 3 on the Kim Oanh Running Team rankings and 03 corresponding kilometer completion certificates (electronic version). Pro Prize: 15 Kim Oanh Running Team jerseys are awarded to runners who complete at least 150km and are ranked from 4th to 18th on the leaderboard.
In addition, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has decided to award Certificates of Merit to 01 collective with the most total kilometers contributed and 07 individuals with an average running performance of at least 20km/day.

07 outstanding individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund in recognition of their companionship with the UpRace 2023 Community Run program, supporting scholarships for ethnic minority and island students. These are 07 individuals who achieve an average run of at least 20km/day.
Representative of Ben Cat branch, Mrs. Phan Thi Thu Trang – Director of Ben Cat branch received the award for the collective with the most kilometers contributed shared, “Despite being busy with work, Ben Cat branch still spends time jogging for the community. Coffee sessions are now switched to jogging. Before we woke up at 6 o’clock, now we get up at 5 o’clock to spend time jogging. For me, the journey of loving and contributing to society is a lifelong journey, so we will continue to devote ourselves to the community” – Mrs. Thu Trang said.

The Customer Service team with the highest valid average mileage and 03 outstanding individuals with the most accumulated mileage of the group received trophies and medals from the Organizing Committee.
