540 scholarships have just been awarded by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation (belonging to Kim Oanh Group) and Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; The beloved Hoang Sa – Truong Sa awarded to ethnic minority students in Da Nang and Quang Nam worth more than 550 million VND.

On October 27, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation cooperated with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and for the beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa to organize a scholarship award program in 2022 – 2023 and 2023 – 2024 for students in island and mountainous areas in Da Nang and Quang Nam.

During this trip, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation sponsored 300 scholarships with each worth 1 million VND in cash and 1 Kim Oanh backpack worth 364 million VND. Of which, 200 scholarships were donated by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation to children of the Fishery Control Force – Division III and 100 scholarships were given to students who are children of ethnic minorities in Quang Nam. 

Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Oanh presented a symbolic board of 200 scholarships to representatives of the Fishery Control Detachment – Division III. 200 scholarships awarded by the beloved Hoang Sa – Hoang Sa also awarded to the children of officers, QNCN, Defense personnel of Region 3 of the Navy on this occasion.        

Sharing at the event Mrs. Truong My Hoa – Chairman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; Dear Chairman For the beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa said that in addition to 4 investment projects to build young human resources for highland, remote and island areas, the Fund also spends 8,000 annual scholarships every year, including 5,000 scholarships for students who are children of ethnic minorities and 3,000 scholarships in island areas.

In Da Nang City, the Foundation and the Club awarded 440 scholarships worth 460 million VND for 2 academic years 2022-2023, 2023-2024 to 40 ethnic minority students and 400 students who are children of professional military personnel of Region 3 of the Navy and the Fishery Control Detachment 3 unit.

Also at the scholarship awarding ceremony, the club “For the beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” admitted and awarded membership cards to 71 individuals living and working in Da Nang city, bringing the total number of club members to 4,052 people, of which the membership group in Da Nang, Quang Nam and TT-Hue has 196 people.

Previously, on October 26, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation donated 250 million VND to Naval Region 3, supporting funds to renovate and repair the church of martyr hero Nguyen Phan Vinh.
