The People’s Committee of Binh Duong province has just issued Decision No. 25/GPMT-STNMT issued on 08/03/2024 to Thuan Loi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company based in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province to carry out environmental protection activities of the An Dien rural housing project in Tan Lap hamlet, An Dien commune, Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province.
Accordingly, the contents of environmental permits and accompanying environmental protection requirements are: allowed to discharge wastewater into the environment, allowed to discharge exhaust gases into the environment, ensuring the limit value for noise and vibration; waste management; prevention and response to environmental incidents. The provincial People’s Committee requested Thuan Loi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to be allowed to carry out permit granting contents only after completing the corresponding environmental protection works; operate regularly and in accordance with the process of wastewater and exhaust gas treatment works to ensure that wastewater and treated exhaust gas meet environmental technical regulations; take measures to minimize noise and vibration to meet environmental protection requirements; waste management in accordance with the law. The company must be responsible before the law when pollutants do not meet the permissible requirements.
It is known that An Dien rural housing area belongs to the list of group II investment projects in accordance with the Law on Environmental Protection. The project has a land area of more than 45,813 m2, is planned to develop 413 adjacent commercial houses with a height of 1-3 floors, with a population size of about 1,652 people. In addition, in order to add value to the project and meet the needs of future residents, besides the green space, a part of the land area of the project is also reserved for the construction of a preschool, the scale of 2,471 m2.
