9 out of 12 Red Scarf houses have been donated by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation, under Kim Oanh Group to poor students across the country with a total value of 960 million VND.
In the morning of June 17, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tra Vinh province and Tra Vinh Provincial Team Council organized the handover ceremony of Red Scarf House for Tran Kim Thi Thao Nguyen, a student of grade 4/1, Don Xuan B Primary School, Don Chau Commune, Duyen Hai District.
The house was built with a cost of 80 million VND supported by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation. According to the locality, Thao Nguyen's family has a particularly difficult situation, she is a member of the team who is facing housing difficulties. My mother worked far away, and my father left to live with my maternal grandparents.
The house was started in April this year and completed after more than 2 months of construction. The house has an area of 85m2 and one bedroom. Mr. Nguyen Duc Ngoc – Representative of Kim Oanh Charity Foundation shared, this is a gift for Thao Nguyen so that she can have a stable place to live, help her confidently overcome difficulties and strive to rise in study.
It is expected that this year, Kim Oanh Charity Foundation will donate 3 more Red Scarf houses in Long An and Thua Thien Hue provinces.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Ngoc handed over the value board of support and handed over the house to Thao Nguyen.
