Kim Oanh Charity Foundation has just attended the inauguration ceremony and handed over the volunteer house to military personnel working at the 2nd Coast Guard Area Command, Da Nang.
On 9/11, in An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City, the 2nd Coast Guard Region Command in collaboration with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club “For Hoang Sa, Hoang Sa” organized the inauguration and handover of the Volunteer House to military families of Coast Guard Region 2.
This is a volunteer house supported by Kim Oanh Charity Foundation of Kim Oanh Group with a budget of 80 million VND to build for Major Nguyen Quang Thiet – Assistant Command Center, General Staff Office of the 2nd Coast Guard Area Command.
Attending the inauguration and handover of the House of Gratitude were Mrs. Truong My Hoa – former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Chairman of the Club “For Hoang Sa, Dear Truong Sa”; Colonel Tran Hong Que – Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2; Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Oanh – Chairman of Kim Oanh Group, Chairman of Kim Oanh Charity Foundation.
With the above funding, Major Nguyen Quang Thiet is confident to repair and upgrade his house more spacious, cozy, resistant to the climate and harsh weather of the Central region. This is a great source of motivation for Major Thiet to work with peace of mind, day and night to try to protect the peace of the Fatherland.
After handing over the volunteer house to military personnel, the delegation of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and representatives of Kim Oanh Charity Foundation continued to come to Quang Nam to attend and award scholarships to 10 disadvantaged students who overcame difficulties to study well in Thang Binh district.
Earlier, on September 9, the delegation visited a historical site in Con Dao district and awarded scholarships to 80 local students.
